Instructional Support (VTAC)

Need help with complex D2L issues, such as setting up your gradebook, adding content, building a quiz, or integrating publisher content?

With the VTAC Support page, we are offering multiple times for phone and WebEx appointments to help us more effectively meet your instructional support needs. 

VTAC Chat is available to provide you with quickly resolved instructional support, and, as always, the OTS Service Desk is available 24/7/365 to provide you with technical support. 

Campus Rep Appointment

Need in-person support? This page provides contact information for each campus representative and a link to schedule an appointment with your representative.

To schedule a Campus Rep appointment:

  1. From the VTAC Support page, navigate to the Assistance column.
    Displays the Assistance tile on the screen.
  2. Navigate to the Instructional Support (VTAC) tile.
  3. Click the Campus Rep Appointment link.
  4. Locate your campus rep, and click the Schedule appointment link.

VTAC Appointment

Schedule a phone or WebEx appointment with VTAC as soon as one hour from now for assistance with a complex D2L issue that might take a while to solve.

To schedule a VTAC appointment:

  1. From the VTAC Support page, navigate to the Assistance column.
    Displays the Assistance tile on the screen.
  2. Navigate to the Instructional Support (VTAC) tile.
  3. Click the VTAC Appointment link.
    Displays the VTAC Appointment link on the screen.
  4. Select an appointment type: WebEx, Phone, or Short Call.
    Displays the VTAC Appointment types on the screen.

VTAC Chat

Get help on a quick D2L issue using VTAC Live Chat. For more complex issues, contact your campus representative or schedule an appointment with VTAC.

To begin a VTAC chat:

  1. From the VTAC Support page, navigate to the Assistance column.
    Displays the Assistance tile on the screen.
  2. Navigate to the Instructional Support (VTAC) tile.
  3. Click the VTAC Chat link.
    Displays the VTAC Chat link on the screen.
  4. Click Begin Chat to connect with an LSC-Online support staff member for immediate assistance. VTAC Chat is available during normal business hours as well as limited hours on Sunday afternoon.
