Madison Anders ![]() | My journey at LSC began this past summer when I transitioned from being a K12 classroom teacher to a career in Instructional Design. During my 8 years of working experience as a classroom educator, I developed my passion for designing instructional and learning experiences by earning a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and teaching courses through multiple modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online). Since working for LSC, I have been fortunate to further this passion by looking at the student experience in courses and exploring new and creative approaches to unique online learning challenges. Outside of work, I am married to a fellow educator, and we are ‘full-time’ busy with our three-year-old son and two dogs. I am an avid reader, writer, baker, gamer, and all things creative outlets! Kelsey Hannum ![]() | Prior to joining LSC, I worked at OpenStax, an OER textbook publisher based at Rice University. I oversaw the development of Business, Humanities, and Social Science textbooks as Associate Editor and was involved with multimedia creation and courseware content development. Working with subject matter experts to create meaningful learning experiences led me to instructional design and pursuing a Master’s in Learning Design and Technology. I am so grateful that my day-to-day now revolves around helping educators enhance online learning through creativity, innovation, and design! Outside of work, I love spending time with my rambunctious corgi, Mr. Darcy, and exploring local hiking trails! Schedule course design assistance with Kelsey. |
