Recording an Offline Capture Presentation in Windows

If you do not have access to a network or you are creating a presentation that does not require a live stream, you can record a presentation offline and store it on your local hard drive for future publishing to Capture Central. You must have already installed the Capture Encoder on your computer. See Capture to download and install the software.

  1. On the main Capture Encoder screen, click Record.
    Shows the Record button.
  2. In the Title field, enter a title for your presentation.
  3. In the Presenter field, enter the presenter's name.
  4. Select a presentation layout.
  5. Click Capture.
    Shows the Title & Presenter fields, layout options & Capture button.
  6. To begin recording, click Start.
    Shows the Start button.
  7. To pause or stop, click Stop.
  8. Click Continue to carry on where you left off.
  9. Click Restart to overwrite the current recording.
  10. Click Finish to end the recording.
