Recording an Offline Capture Presentation on a Mac

If you do not have access to a network or you are creating a presentation that does not require a live stream, you can record a  presentation offline and store it on your local hard drive for future publishing to Capture Central. You must have already installed the Capture recorder on your computer.

  1. On the main Capture Encoder screen, click Record.
  2. In the Title field, enter a title for your presentation.
  3. In the Presenter field, enter your name (including your last name).
  4. Choose a presentation layout.
  5. Click Capture.
  6. To begin recording, click Start.
  7. To stop recording, click Stop.
  8. Choose one of the following options.
    • If you wish to continue your recording, click Continue.
    • If you wish to start over again from the beginning, click Restart.
    • If you are done recording, click Finish.

NOTE: If you click Restart, you will overwrite your current recording.
